STREETCLEANERS
Meet at their pain. Love your neighbor. The sweeper that rolls over depression, sorrow, PTSD, guilt, and anxiety — 1986 RESPECT.
STREETCLEANERS is recovery television. A rust-and-chrome sweeper. On the shield: MEET AT THEIR PAIN. 1986. RESPECT. On the banner: Meet at their pain — Love your neighbor.
The street is not a metaphor for later. Pain, depression, sorrow, PTSD, guilt, anxiety, and the thought of ending it — the truck is built to sweep what people step around. This is the same house as RecoveryROCKS and TRANSFORMED.
HWETV’s motorcycle years taught the camera to stay out of the way. This series uses that muscle on civic and recovery streets: show up at the wreckage, do not lecture from a studio.
